As an Associate Solution Architect Analyst, you will be driving forward the research, analytics and materials that will improve our AWS customer obsession and customer experience. This role is will require eventual use/expertise of tools such as Salesforce, Excel, Oracle, SQL, AppExchange, other internal tools, etc. You will be working alongside various industry professionals delivering quality development and deployment of cloud solutions. You will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to help building mind share and broad use of Amazon’s cloud computing services (Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon CloudFront, AWS Elemental Media Services, AWS Mobile Hub, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Athena, AWS Lambda, Amazon DynamoDB etc.)

  • Ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce.cominternal tools and resources, including data migrations, data quality, systems integrations, 3rd party applications and AppExchange products
  • Responsible for implementing customized solutions that support business requirements and help drive key business decisions (AWS)
  • Seek out opportunities to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity, and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace
  • Work with users to develop requirements for various initiatives, document those requirements, and build an implementation plan

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • At least two years in Salesforce-based administration, project management, or analyst roles
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field
  • Certified Advanced Administrator (ADM-211) or Developer (DEV-401) Certification
  • Experience using Salesforce data tools (Data Loader, Excel Connector, Salesforce for Outlook)
  • Involvement in at least two large projects
  • Strong business analysis and functional experience, including requirements gathering, creating/deploying solutions to end users
  • Basic understanding of cloud technology and industry
  • Ability to critically review feature requests and make alternate proposals as warranted

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth understanding of the capabilities and constraints of the SFDC CRM application coupled with a good understanding around the business processes (Sales, Marketing, Partner Management, etc.)
  • Professional experience in a sandbox test environment, including development/staging/production (or similar) deployment cycles
  • Knowledge of Agile development practices, particularly sprint planning and assessment
  • 2 years Project Management experience or PMI Certification
  • Ability to use VisualForce, SOQL and APEX, although advanced coding skills are not required
