Job Description


Our European Operations Talent Acquisition team is looking for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join our growing team in Luxembourg.

Your Role:
You will be responsible for building and developing a high performing recruiting team to support Amazon’s aggressive growth plans. As our Recruitment Manager, you will ensure your team is a trusted advisor to the business. As a part of the global recruiting leadership team, you will be responsible for helping drive business-specific recruitment initiatives. The Recruitment Manager will also collaborate with internal teams such as HR Business Partners, University Relations and Talent Branding teams. Specifically, you will
  • Consult hiring managers and help address their needs through an in-depth understanding of recruitment and your strong knowledge base of the business
  • Stakeholder Management, both with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage your team of recruiters and drive them forward in their recruitment efforts, among others by use of recruitment metrics, knowledge sharing and vision statements
  • Be responsible for complex recruitment strategies for a wide range of positions under the guidance of our European HQ in Luxembourg

Basic Qualifications

You have significant experience in managing recruiting teams from a matrixed, global organization. You have previous experience leading a team of in-house recruitment managers and senior recruiting professionals as well as experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems. As a person, you have superior written and verbal communication skills, along with a great ability to influence leaders in taking complex decisions on behalf of the organization. As such, your interpersonal skills are pronounced combined with great negotiation skills, and you would be able to partner easily and effectively with our global recruiting teams, HR business partners and other functional leaders. You also utilize your strong analytical skills to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and your recruiting team. You are fluent in written and spoken English.

  • Fluency in additional European language(s) a plus
  • Strong Microsoft proficiency, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
