The AWS DBS team is building the next generation of NoSQL technology to enable users to deploy, manage and massively scale distributed NoSQL data stores. AWS is known for being disruptive, and what we have in mind is going to shake up the technology landscape for NoSQL in a big way.
We are looking for a Sr. Software Development Engineer to play a leading role in designing and building this technology. This team will be driving innovation and delivering new projects that improve upon existing NoSQL technologies in the areas of performance, durability and manageability while lowering cost for customers. You will be playing a leading role in solving challenging problems with NoSQL technologies and big data processing at scale.
We need mid-senior level backend Java developers with experience building distributed systems, high volume transaction frameworks, database, cache, and/or storage technologies. Knowledge of common NoSQL or RDBMS design patterns is a plus, as is experience with DynamoDB, Cassandra, MongoDB, CouchBase, or other NoSQL platforms.
