Senior HR opportunities at Amazon in Germany

Joining Amazon
With Amazon operations' increasing growth in Europe our fulfillment centers are now looking for top talent. At the time we seek our HR professionals to join our teams in all Germany, in particular in Brieselang, Rheinberg, Bad Hersfeld, Werne, Leipzig for(senior) HR Professionals.
Our (senior) HR business partner and (senior) human resources managers are experts in various subjects, DE employee relations, performance management, talent management, as well as also in succession planning, employee commitment and legislative compliance. They have the right skills to work in the heart of Amazon's and they are available for all managers and all employees of the fulfillment centers as a contact. Our DE HR team are an integral part of HR and management and you play a decisive role, because we can be successful in the long term only with the best and most satisfied employees.
Depending on the level of the position for which you apply, your interview will focus one of the following or in several areas concerned interface functions:

HR Generalist
Will be responsible for advising management and all employees of a site in all matters of personnel. On the basis of a solid foundation of knowledge in legal issues in collective matters but also in administrative personnel matters, they will work on a variety of topics and be involved in solutions. Will advise on problems through the analysis of key figures and facts. You design, simplify, and improve processes that align for continuous improvements in fulfillment centers. They are integrated in the local, the national and the international HR team and learn from and with them through regular exchange of experience. Have an open and communication style that you makes you the "go to"-Person.

Employee relations & commitment
They understand employee engagement and the entrepreneurial spirit that is needed to develop the fulfillment centers. You are a business partner, a visible and strong Communicator. You will use your experience and your instinct as a base to continue to increase commitment - good leaders make the right decisions - almost always.
Your solid experience in HR is the basis on which you build the confidence of others. This trust will help you to understand the site management and site HR team and develop.
Recruitment & selection

Performance management, talent management & succession planning
With our annual leadership review process, we ensure that we identify our future leaders, develop and keep. You are 100% customer oriented, and will work together with the site senior teams, helping them to create robust development plans and to maximize performance within their team.
You think in large dimensions when it comes to employee development and are a vital coach and mentor for site leadership teams.

Basic Qualifications

We are looking for:
· People with several years of HR experience and a deep knowledge of German labor laws
· People who are focused on providing the best quality services to their internal and external customers
· People with strong communication skills, especially when designed to help stakeholders to make the right decisions for companies and employees.
· People with fluid English and German skills in spoken and written
· People who have the ability to influence their customers and work with various levels in the Organization to get results.
· Excellent analytical skills
· People with creative will and the professional skills to implement their ideas in an environment that is extremely rapid changing
· People with good instincts, which have a high moral standards and HR experience problem-solving skills based on a solid business understanding, a good judgment, show critical questioning and initiative.
· People who study at an accredited university, must have at least a College Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and HR systems (e.g. PeopleSoft, Kronos/AT Server, or some time collection system)
  • Experience within an international and very technology driven environment
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural and multi-location environment
  • Master's degree in HR or related discipline
  • Proven presentation and communication skills
  • Able to travel, as appropriate
