We are seeking a talented, highly analytical Senior Product Manager that has the desire to invent and deliver on the strategic objectives of the European Marketplace business. From Day 1, you will be given (1) the challenge to solve complex data intensive problems, (2) the autonomy to think big, make data driven decisions and recommendations to senior leadership, and (3) the ability to have a significant impact to the business.

As the Senior Product Manager, Marketplace Selection, you will be responsible for diving deep into business problems, manage programs to drive selection growth, quality and diversity, enhancing the shopping experience for millions of customers on Amazon’s European websites. You will be responsible for the business's success and as such liaise frequently with senior European stakeholders on strategy and roadmap. The role is based in Luxembourg but you will work with technical and non-technical teams worldwide, requiring a strong ability to communicate effectively.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years in an analytical role in product management, business intelligence, or similar work experience
  • Advanced working knowledge of data mining using SQL, ETL, data warehouse as well as Excel
  • Demonstrated business judgment as well as ability to think creatively, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements and prioritize
  • A track record of delivering projects, in international environments with proven results
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to define, scope and prioritize requirements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to face external and internal partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • MS, PhD, MBA from a top school
  • Experience in e-commerce industry
