This Business Manager, Microsoft Platform role has regional responsibility and is part of a Global Organization established to position AWS as the best place to host Windows based production workloads.

As part of a single-threaded specialized overlay team focusing on the Microsoft platform running on AWS, you will be responsible for working with large customers and their existing account teams to qualify and pursue opportunities for enterprise application workloads and datacenter migration projects. You will engage with segment sales, solutions architects, partner and professional services organizations to help drive large and highly complex opportunities to closure. These opportunities will include migrating SQL Server, Exchange, SharePoint or SAP applications to the AWS cloud. Your commitments will include driving platform adoption within large account segments, market penetration in new and existing customers as well as creating public references.

Basic Qualifications

Extensive experience selling Microsoft solutions to large enterprises in the Nordics and/or Benelux.
Proven ability to dive deep on Microsoft Server Technologies (including SQL Server), Licensing, and moving enterprise workloads to the cloud.
Manage and maintain a robust and accurate sales pipeline of opportunities.
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
Develop and execute against a comprehensive territory focused sales plan.
Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources such as Solutions Architects, Professional Services and Partners.

Preferred Qualifications

Several years of technology related sales or business development experience with quota accountability.
Direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts.
Experience working at Microsoft or a systems integrator partner.
Experience in working directly with large enterprise accounts in a quota carrying role.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Extensive customer network.

University degree desired. A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
