Job Description

Amazon Web Services is seeking a talented, self-directed field marketing expert to generate awareness of Amazon Web Services’ (AWS) cloud computing platform in the Commercial and SMB segments across EMEA. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting, fast growing business.

As the Head of EMEA SMB Marketing, you will help define the AWS marketing strategy, planning, campaign development and execution targeted to mid-market and SMB customers across EMEA. You will be responsible for defining regional marketing programs. You will also contribute to set up a pan-EMEA telemarketing function to support customer acquisition and profiling.

The right candidate will have successful experience in results-driven marketing and partnering with the AWS sales teams to help generate growth in new regions, as well as an unbridled passion for technology, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Basic Qualifications

- Relevant work experience in marketing. Experience in marketing B2B technology products or services preferred
- Demonstrated success in marketing management, developing marketing strategy, digital marketing, event management, product management, lead management
- Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in setting up and leading a pan-EMEA telemarketing function (in- or out-sourced)
- Demonstrated experience in measuring and improving the ROI of marketing investments
- Experience of operating and collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional matrixed global organization
- A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results
- Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables
- Proven experience finding creative ways to do more with less, and a track record of staying on budget
- Willingness to travel and ability to work independently and autonomously

Preferred Qualifications

. Proven knowledge of industry tools preferred, such as SalesForce.com, Marketo
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study. MBA preferred.
