Amazon is looking for an exceptionally talented Principal Product Manager (m/f) based in London. This role focuses on Pricing.
You will be the authoritative voice of EU Fashion Pricing and be considered the go-to subject matter expert by senior stakeholders and other team members. This role has a broad, high impact scope and is highly visible within the EU Fashion organization.Your responsibilities include:
- Strategy development
: Drive the Pricing Vision and Roadmap for the EU Fashion business to deliver a great customer experience and build long-term customer trust, improve key business metrics such as sell through and contribution profit, and ensure we are always price competitive in the local markets in which we operate.
- Customer experience
: Identify and prioritize how to improve and simplify the way customers understand and interact with our pricing on site. Provide business case rationale to technical teams to influence features development and influence cross-functional teams to prioritize the features that will have the greatest impact for our business.
- Project management
: Lead the implementation of large scale systems projects that deliver improved automation and financial results for the business. Manage international projects with cross-functional teams. Troubleshoot issues that arise during implementation. Provide reporting to the business on progress and results.
- Stakeholder management:
Keep senior stakeholders informed of key pricing initiatives and progress. Liaise with our technical pricing teams in Seattle, China, and India to continuously improve how Corporate pricing systems work for our business.
- People development
: Manage a dotted-line organization of Pricing Managers who report directly to local Category Leaders but collaborate on Pan EU projects and implementation of pricing strategy. Facilitate weekly meetings, host bi-annual summits, and build a high performing and collaborative community within the Fashion team.
