As Senior Campaign Insights Analyst in the Commercial Insights Team you will lead the Campaign Insight team. You will be a thought partner of the Amazon Video EU marketing team, based in Central London. The marketing team is highly data literate and is responsible for driving customer growth and engagement with Amazon Video through a broad range of marketing channels and relies on making agile decisions based on customer understanding and campaign performance.
The playbook is still being written in this space so evaluation of marketing campaigns is crucial to defining future campaigns. The Campaign Insight team is responsible for turning data into actionable insights across customer behaviour and marketing impact, including customer acquisition and retention initiatives as well as contributing to marketing strategies for current and future products.
The successful candidate will have excellent data manipulation skills in SQL, experience of building and analysing marketing campaign tests, as well as good communication and stakeholder management skills. Working closely with internal clients is a core function of the role.
In order to scale in step with this rapidly evolving business, the Commercial Insights team is increasingly focused on automation and creating self-serve platforms to make its models and insight available throughout Amazon Video. In addition we value curiosity to learn and a fearless approach to evaluating and adopting new analytical technologies, methods and approaches.
- Ability to translate business problems into analytical tasks and communicate results back to a business audience
- Ability to work with business leads and marketing teams to successfully meet deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment.
- Deep analytical abilities, specifically with respect to campaign performance and experiment design and analysis
- Experience of working with marketing stakeholders
- Excellent data manipulation skills. SQL required
- Experience of advanced modelling techniques (e.g. regression, segmentation)
- Strong statistical skills
This position will suit a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst or Business Analyst, perhaps with an agency background, that has specifically worked with marketing data in the context of demanding clients, complex testing, rigorous analysis and relentless experimentation.
