Job Description

HR Services Business Analyst, Service Management:

Purpose of role:

HR Service Management supports the effective running of HR Services as it builds in size and process and operational accountabilities. The role holder will achieve this through close working partnerships with local HR Services teams and support the review, adjustment, correction and agreed development of HR Services (to meet internal customer expectation) including reporting against targets.

The role holder will report into the EMEA HR Service Manager and will have the following job tasks and responsibilities:
§ Develop standard suite of service monitoring reports which deliver consistent method of measuring operational performance at country level and regionally.
§ Perform data-mining and analysis using tools including Peoplesoft, MS Excel, MS Access and Amazon Redshift to identify trends and recommend opportunities for improvements.
§ Monitor and report against agreed SLAs and KPIs, providing root cause analysis and remediation where these are not hit.
§ Deliver country level reports as required both quantitative and qualitative, to analyse service demand against service capacity and identify opportunities to improve performance.
§ Own HR Service operating performance reporting to pre-defined schedule, including communication, trend analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
§ Work in partnership with the HR Services country leads to build reporting and other technical solutions that support automation and streamlining of HR Services processes
§ Support and contribute to the development of HR Management Information to drive down duplication of reporting across HR functions
§ Perform regular data audits on HR systems to ensure they are correct and up to date
§ Partner with finance teams to produce demand forecast reports based on headcount planning and support country Leads with Capacity planning
§ Support the development of frustration free Associate processes by questioning and challenging, at all times driving to the desired end state and ensuring the voice of the customer is reflected in everything that we do.

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

§ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or other quantitative fields such as Mathematics, or Statistics or equivalent experience.
§ 2+ years experience in an analytical role
§ Advanced working knowledge of SQL, ETL and Excel.
§ Experience with visualization technologies such as Tableau
§ Technical Expertise and in-depth knowledge of planning and analysis tools; solution driven approach to system and process;
§ Able to communicate complex messages and outputs from their analysis in a confident and ‘simple way’, and the ability to train others in technical/analysis skills.
§ Experience creating tools and models to interpret and analyze large data sets and communicate results to business leaders

  • Extremely strong analytical and quantitative skills and a track record for planning, doing and auditing work
  • Detail driven with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with the ability to see the broader picture
  • Strong sense of accountability and sound personal judgment with the capacity to handle confidential information and escalate issues effectively
  • Proactive and forward-thinking attitude and creative problem-solving ability
  • Able to use existing data sources to model trends and communicate findings within a matrixed environment, able to create forecasting spreadsheets to support business planning
  • Expert at optimizing processes and training others to use resultant data successfully
  • Experience with automation using VBA
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft, or similar HR systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate detailed information to internal and external customers
