Job Description

Amazon Video launched in February 2014 and in less than a year became the UK’s first choice provider of Movies and TV shows to watch instantly. In the same short timeframe, the streaming service became the first in the world to win a best TV series Golden Globe and the pace with which the service is creating original content for customers to watch on hundreds of different devices is growing fast including collaborations with directors such as Woody Allen, Ridley Scott and Roman Coppola.

The marketing team for Amazon Video in the UK is based in Central London and they have the responsibility for driving the customer growth and engagement with this service through a very broad combination of marketing channels.

As part of the Commercial Insights Team you will be responsible for supporting the marketing team with a wide variety of customer communications, through multiple direct channels. This role is the gatekeeper of Amazon Video communications to its customers and as such requires relentless attention to detail. The successful candidate will be as comfortable planning long range campaigns as reacting to immediate requirements; work with existing processes as well as leading on opportunities to optimise and simplify where possible.

  • Ability to translate business requests into a robust and unambiguous targeting criteria.
  • Process driven, with exactingly high standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong data manipulation skills. SQL required.
This position will suit a data professional who has experience in the marketing industry.

Basic Qualifications

For this role we require:
  • Educated to degree level in a numerical discipline
  • Experienced with SQL and working with relational databases
  • Experienced at analytical data manipulation on large marketing databases
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred experience
  • Understanding of marketing consent, suppressions and the Data Protection Act (DPA)
