The Commercial Insights team work with the Amazon Video EU marketing team, based in Central London. The marketing team is responsible for driving customer growth and engagement with Amazon Video through a broad range of marketing channels and relies on making agile decisions based on customer understanding and campaign performance.
In order to scale in step with this rapidly evolving business, the Commercial Insights team requires an individual with a curious and fearless approach to evaluating and adopting new analytical technologies, methods and approaches. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the journey tooling up marketing with the best possible analytics in the entertainment industry.
You will be responsible for managing the infrastructure to support large-scale analytics projects. In addition to supporting our Redshift environment you will be expected to investigate and implement the latest technologies and approaches to cloud-based analytics.
The successful candidate will be comfortable working with data pipelines and ETL. In addition we are looking to automate and enable a self-serve environment for our marketing teams. This role requires creative and resourceful approaches to building tools, consolidating best practice and extending the analytics environment.
Working closely with internal clients is a core function of the role, as well as staying close to the AWS roadmap and leveraging their new and emerging products.
- Database cloud architecture and troubleshooting complex performance issues
