We design, experiment, implement, test and iterate and our goal is to make the Amazon ecosystem experience uniquely personal. Everything we do is global, iterative and data-driven. We run tens of experiments each year. Our org (a.k.a P13N) revolutionized e-commerce with features such as “Customers Who Bought Also Bought” and “Recommended for You” and we are looking for creative and innovative leaders with a penchant for deep technical problem solving and the ability to lead and mentor engineers across teams/divisions.
About the role:
As a Senior UX Designer on the Personalization/Customer Insights team, you should be at ease bringing digital experiences to life through creating user scenarios, sketches, storyboards, wireframes, mockups and prototypes. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to visualize an experience in the abstract, break down complex use cases, and then drive the vision into solid design deliverables. You think first from the customer’s perspective, setting relentlessly high standards for yourself, and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. You thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment and embrace the idea that failure is a critical part of innovation.You are also very hands-on and love to dive deeper into the implementation details and are keen to test new research UX ideas.
