At Amazon we believe that customer trust is of paramount importance to anything we do. To continue building customer trust the Marketplace Abuse team works with merchants, brands and customers to identify and prevent product abuse in areas such as copyright, trademark and counterfeit for our customers worldwide.

The Merchant Relationship Management team is a new start-up team within Amazon that consults, coaches, and supports the largest marketplace merchants to ensure alignment and compliance with our policies and support them with their continued success on Amazon Marketplace. This team identifies underlying issues, improves processes, and communicates with merchants in partnership with other Amazon compliance teams including Product Quality, Seller Performance, and Brand Registry.

We are looking for a Merchant Relationship Manager (m/f) to help shape the future of the Merchant Relationship Management program. In this role you will drive success for many of our largest and most established EU merchants and leverage key learnings and feedback to improve the Amazon website and how we manage counterfeits, trademark and copyright violations.

The role will be located in Munich (Germany).

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • several years of professional experience in Account Management with excellent relationship building and customer service skills
  • Experience communicating and presenting thoughts clearly and succinctly via phone and in person
  • Track record of using data reporting and analysis to support business decisions
  • Business proficiency in Enlish and Italian

Preferred Qualifications

  • Expertise with trademark and/or copyright law
  • Experience working with risk management, compliance and/or counterfeit product
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Successful track record in conflict resolution and arbitration
  • Experience working in a start-up and/or technology environment
