AWS is passionate about inventing the future on behalf of our customers.

We are launching a new innovation unit in London, and looking for passionate builders to join us in exploring, researching, experimenting, and developing new initiatives. We will identify and incubate promising ideas, work closely with specialist teams across AWS and Amazon, and rapidly iterate.

We are looking for a passionate and experienced AWS builders.

A successful candidate is a passionate software builder and technical expert who is ready to redefine how we leverage the software and technology that operates AWS. You are able to select the appropriate languages, frameworks and technologies best suited to solve the problems at hand.

On our team, you will have full access to all AWS Services, infrastructure and toolsets. The projects will be Agile-based and generate value with each iteration. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset, we want to talk to you!

Basic Qualifications

· 3-5 years professional experience in software development
· Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
· 3-5 years professional experience in object-oriented design and programming in · · · one or more of the following: Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, C++, or Python
· Understanding and experience with web technologies (HTML, HTTP, CSS, JSON) and web frameworks on the browser or server in any language
· Experience with agile development methodology as part of a team
· Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly

Preferred Qualifications

· AWS / Cloud Architecture experience. AWS certification is a plus
· Familiarity with Design Thinking or similar innovation frameworks
· In-depth understanding of algorithms and data structures
· Experience with web development frameworks
· Experience developing serverless applications
· Experience on a UNIX or Linux platform
· Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
