We are looking for a Product Manager with a strong technical background to join our team as the Principal Product Manager for a vital part of our Audiences products.

    The Principal Product Manager will be responsible for charting and executing a course for Audience products that utilize Amazon’s own ecommerce behaviors and more. You will help define our strategy and will design and implement program direction to ensure that the products we build enables our business to grow. You have excellent communication skills and judgment, and are comfortable evangelizing the platform functions and services with a wide range of senior business and technical leaders across Advertising and beyond.

    Your responsibilities will be:
    · Define business and technical product requirements.
    · Lead cross-functional teams to execute on product plans and to deliver results.
    · Collaborate closely with stakeholders throughout Amazon to obtain buy-in for product initiatives and to set expectations.
    · Analyze and act on business metrics and data to grow the business.
    · Work with marketing, account development and sales to execute the go to market strategy.
    · Leverage consumer insights or competitive intelligence reports to help explain online behavioral trends and inform product decisions.
    · Write effectively, sharing relevant project updates, roadmaps and metrics with stakeholders.
    · Work with engineering teams to shape and evaluate technical architectures to deliver against product requirements and goals.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related field.
    • Significant overall experience in software development, data science, program management, or product management, in an Internet related business.
    • Significant experience in a hands-on product management role.
    • Experience in the digital advertising or marketing space.
    • Experience leading the development of large cross-team products.
    • Experience providing technical and product leadership and developing strategy with senior leadership.
    • Experience mentoring and developing other technical colleagues.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Ability to dive deep into technical concepts with successful past delivery of technical user-facing products.
    • Proficient in Hive, Python or SQL
    • MBA or Masters degree
    • Solid command of descriptive statistics
    • Composed understanding of data visualization and reporting tools (Tableau, Microstrategy, Yellowfin, DOMO, etc.)
