    The Alexa Skills team is seeking a senior UX Designer to own the Skills user experience in Europe.

    This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a fast growing business and to be part of the team that defines the next-generation of human-computer interfaces.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Fluent English.
    • Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related field.
    • 7+ years of experience as a user experience designer or interaction designer, or similar role. A portfolio of work demonstrating experience creating human-centered design solutions. Ability to communicate ideas simply and effectively.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Good understanding of one or two European languages.
    • Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related field.
    • Fluency in best practices for information architecture and design, as well as strong knowledge of usability principles and techniques.
    • Experience with voice-user interfaces (VUI).
    • Experience designing for a variety of form factors including: iOS, android, tablet, and web. Experience designing products in multiple markets.
    • Experience working in a start-up style environment, where rapid iteration is encouraged.
