    Amazon is seeking an innovative HR Operations Projects Intern to help the EU HR Operations PMO team deliver first-class support to our European HR Operations teams.

    If you are looking to gain experience in a challenging and varied environment, this is the place for you. The intern will be supporting a variety of HR projects, both long and short term, to help improve and innovate processes, as well as carrying out HR project administrative tasks on an ad hoc basis. We’re looking for smart, ambitious individuals who want to learn more about HR projects.

    This internship will provide you with on the job training as well as ongoing coaching within an international company and you can expect to learn about HR processes and policies, associate experience and project management.

    This is a 6 month internship aimed at 2+ year university students or recent university graduates. An Amazon EU internship will provide you with an unforgettable working experience in a fast-paced, dynamic and international environment; it will boost your resume and will provide a superb introduction to HR, program implementation and project management.

    The internship is based in Amazon’s EU Headquarters in the vibrant city of Luxembourg.     Support the team with projects:
    · Support in the development of a continuous improvement framework for EU HR PMO, learning how improvement opportunities are identified and introduced across a network.
    · Support in the maintenance of the HR data repository, ensuring the tool is kept up to date with the latest policy information and helping to identify data gaps or potential improvements to the repository structure.
    · Support the implementation of designated EU projects across the EU fulfillment network, learning how standard programs are launched to different regions.
    · Support the PMO with the development of EU HR Metrics Dashboards and data analysis requests.
    The intern will also have the opportunity to improve their Excel, database and SharePoint skills by supporting with the development of standard PMO tools (trackers, planning templates etc.) and mechanisms to allow the team to operate optimally and drive EU standardization.

    Basic Qualifications

    • You have 2 + years of university education or you are a recent (less than 6 months ago) graduate in Human Resources; Business/Management studies; Finance/Economics; Business Intelligence or other related fields.
    • You ave the right to work in Luxembourg
    • You also: Put the customer first. Have good attention to detail and are able to work in an organized way and have strong data analysis skills.
    • You have excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written).
    • You are confident and skilled in using Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

    Preferred Qualifications

    Interest in broad HR topics and associate engagement.
    • Additional European language skills (French, German, Polish, Italian, Spanish, Czech).
    • Knowledge of VBA, SQL, SharePoint, Database design.
