    The Prime Video Commerce team owns the customer experience when purchasing and subscribing to video content, from surfacing the most relevant offers and ensuring transactions succeed to managing the lifecycle of everything they have bought.

    We are seeking a talented Technical Program Manager focused on managing software development products. This position is instrumental in driving improvements with internal & external partners. If you enjoy working in a rapidly changing environment and influencing the strategic direction of key initiatives, this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity. You will be responsible for managing cross-team communication to ensure all business and technical stakeholder’s needs are aligned, conducting and responding to product development goals, coordinating the scoping & planning of software development and driving the releases to production. A successful candidate will have an established background in software development, a strong technical ability, excellent project management skills, great communication skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, high creativity, great analytical reasoning skills, and, of course, a passion for TV and film.

    Basic Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
    • Previous program management experience
    • Highly technical and hands-on software engineering experience.
    • Experience of risk management, business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions.
    • Experience in planning and delivery of enterprise-level software development programs.
    • Thorough understanding of software development lifecycle from conception to delivery.
    • Proven data analysis, problem solving and project management skills.
    • Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
    • Experience with service-oriented architectures and web services

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, and a consideration for scale, efficiency and performance
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
    • A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects
    • Proven experience working with senior leadership and experience defining and delivering on a product roadmap
