    The Global Operations Systems team’s mission is to support robust, highly available, and easy to use services for our internal customers across the global enterprise. We are looking for a mid to senior engineer to join the Systems team. This individual will have a broad impact on our organization and help drive improvement into our enterprise. A strong understanding of automation, as well as a variety of Windows-based services, is critical.

    Our ideal candidate is detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills and has a track record of supporting enterprise technologies while building automation and tools. Exposure to supporting large-scale enterprise systems while inventing new ways to bring self-service features to customers. The ability to interact with not only peers but also customers on a global scale is required. A self-starter that can act autonomously to deliver on the team and organizational projects.

    Basic Qualifications

    • 3+ years industry experience with 2+ focusing on building tools and automating processes
    • Bachelor degree in an engineering field or relevant experience.
    • 5+ years of engineering or supporting Microsoft Active Directory solutions in a large scale (over 10,000 user) global environment.
    • Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols)
    • Proficient use of at least one modern language (e.g. Python, Ruby, Java)
    • Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues
    • Experience in Linux systems administration
    • Experience in Windows systems administration
    • Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Ability to drive projects to completion
    • Ability to drive clarity when ambiguity exists
    • The ability to think at scale and automate processes
    • Demonstrable track record dealing well with ambiguity.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience with development depth in OOP, Java, UNIX, Perl, C++, XML, Web services, Powershell, and UNIX tools.
    • Expertise in Linux or Windows systems administration
    • Demonstrable track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment.
    • Expertise in the utilization of Amazon Web Services
    • A background in Information Security
