    We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to help drive significant selection and revenue growth with AWS Global Accounts in EMEA and support AWS Enterprise Accounts in EMEA ‘rest-of-world’ (primarily Middle East and South Africa) – helping customers strategically think about their software estate as they move from on-prem environments to the cloud. Your responsibilities as Senior BDM will be to help define and execute the strategy across the Global Accounts working with teams across the AWS organization.

    As the Business Development Manager of this business, you will work with the AWS Marketplace EMEA Sales Enablement team to help set strategy and determine which products to pursue in order maximize value and selection for Buyers. You will engage directly with Procurement Managers and Account Managers from Software Vendors to help drive and support adoption of AWS Marketplace at AWS customers. This role will require significant travel.

    You should enjoy working closely with AWS customers and ISVs to learn about their business and be able to help them drive their cloud strategy via AWS Marketplace. Successful applicants will have extensive sales, business development and account management experience and as well as an understanding of the ISV (Independent Software Vendor) ecosystem. You should be technically competent and understand the cloud architecture environment and best practices associated with both on-prem architecture and cloud-based solutions (right-sizing hosts, data at-rest/data in-transit, security on and off the cloud architecture). You should be very delivery-focused, with a track record of exceeding business goals, customer-centric, and self-motivated. This position has a high level of visibility, and you will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly and compellingly internally and externally.     Basic Qualifications

    Partner experience working across the software ecosystem, channels and technology companies.
    • Significant business development and program management experience.
    • Comfortable holding technical discussions associated with best practice cloud-based solutions.
    • Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
    • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills in English.
    • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
    • Ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
    • Experience working within enterprise software development industry.
    • Solid understanding of Cloud computing technology and a utility pricing model.
    • Fluent in English.

    Preferred Qualifications

    MBA or Graduate degree, or equivalent experience.
    Prior experience working in the partner ecosystem.
    Experience with varying software licensing models
    Fluency in French or German
