UK Supply Chain team is looking for a Supply Chain Analyst to build scalable processes for our ever expanding network (20+ nodes, 100+ connections, millions of movements every day and growing), coordinate operational S&OP planning and mid-term topologies.
You will have responsibility for implementing new methods to optimize the network, suggest process and software modifications to optimize the end-to-end fulfillment cost, and for making tactical decisions to drive customer satisfaction. If you are someone who has shown success in analyzing and diving deep in complex data; streamlining and identifying process improvement opportunities; interacting and communicating efficiently with multiple stakeholders; and pioneering new ways to do things, we’d like to talk to you. This position is based out of our London office.
Responsibilities - You’re the business owner for forecast generation for UK Fulfillment network. You propose changes in line with network constraints and coordinate them with S&OP, transportation and software teams. - You suggest and implement new ways to optimize the network, using the wide range of Amazon tools, from simulations to data analytics. - You monitor and improve the performance of the network by following and driving performance with existing metrics and by developing new ones to track new initiatives. - You continuously deep dive to identify and incorporate changing trends into our planning, and to root cause and fix deviations. - You work with Senior Managers of the fulfillment centers to align shift capacities to demand; and overall capacity alignment to S&OP plans. As appropriate highlight any risks to Regional Directors in case of mismatch. - You support process improvements in forecasting, warehousing and transportation operations with analytics. - You work closely with other support functions to make sure capacities are in place to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Degree in a Engineering, supply chain subject. - Strong data analysis skills, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. - Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Must be a proactive and independent problem solver that can make high quality judgments and decisions quickly with excellent organization skills. - Must be detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to follow-through on projects. - Excellent communicating skills coupled with ability to comfortably and confidently present to all levels within the company is required . - Experience of dealing with results, metrics and data management and desire to create and build new processes.
- Previous experience in a similar role / relevant work experience will help you to get started faster but is not a requirement. - Experience in stakeholder management. - Knowledge of SQL / R / any data analytics tool is a plus.
