    As a Systems Development Engineer, you will help operationalize, install, maintain and run processing tools by diagnosing and resolving bugs, add minor features in code and adjust data formats to guarantee the flow of data between different systems runs smoothly. You will partner closely across different teams and be capable of delivering high quality work under tight time constraints.

    The successful candidate will be committed to driving operational excellence and process improvements, while being innovative with automating and optimizing processing workflow.

    Candidates will be quick learners and be able to prioritize well and communicate clearly while working in a high calibre team. You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!

    Export Control License: This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon’s ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

    Basic Qualifications

    - BS in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, or relevant technical experience
    - Knowledge of the UNIX/Linux operating system
    - Experience in Programming / scripting (Python, Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and PHP)
    - Working knowledge in databases and scripting

    Preferred Qualifications


    · Support / Troubleshooting experience
    · Demonstrated skill and passion for operational excellence
    · Experience in communicating with users and other technical teams.
    · Understanding of ML and CV
    · Development/technical support experience
