Amazon seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support Amazon Prime across Europe. This position will partner with business leadership to set and review both short and long term business and financial goals, evaluate new business opportunities and drive business initiatives. Additional responsibilities include business and financial forecasting, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting, and ad hoc business analysis support.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field
    • 5+ years of relevant finance experience
    • Advanced knowledge of Excel
    • Demonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving
    • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams
    • Fluent in English

    Preferred Qualifications

    • MBA preferred
    • Knowledge of SQL is desirable
    • Experience with Essbase, Cognos, Oracle Financials or similar tools
    • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership
    • Excellent communication and persuasion skills
    • The preferred candidate will also demonstrate attention to detail and will have the ability to deal with ambiguity
