  • Job Description

    The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who has a strong administration and co-ordination background. The role will be responsible for coordinating training and document control activities, distributing regular communications to our audience and various reporting and administrative tasks related to our Learning Management and Document Control Systems.

    The primary responsibilities for the Training & Documentation Co-ordinator include:

    • Scheduling and overseeing all internal and external training activities for Infrastructure Operations teams
    • Administration of the Learning Management System relating to training scheduling, logistics and learner attendance
    • Soliciting relevant content to be included in regular distribution of upstream and downstream communications
    • Administration of the Document Management System according to document control best practices; including publishing, permissions and version control
    • Preparing of reports to outline training and learner activities and document control status
    • Utilizing the Learning Management System to create learner assessments and evaluations to track the effectiveness of learning initiatives
    • Documenting of procedures related to administration tasks; and co-ordination of workflow approvals of all controlled documents
    • Preparing facilities in advance of instructor learning initiatives and logistical management of instructors and scheduling
    • Collaborating effectively with other teams to ensure all training and documentation enquiries are addressed to expectations

    Basic Qualifications

    You are someone who is highly autonomous, very detail oriented, with an ability to work in a fast paced environment.

    • Experience with employee engagement, document control and technical training initiatives/programs involving standard operating procedures
    • Experience with the utilization of system administration in training programs and document control, including Cornerstone Learning Management System and/or similar architecture, and enterprise document management systems
    • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
    • Good working knowledge of how to use MS SharePoint, wikis and other collaboration tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Quantitative analytical abilities
    • Experience with enterprise class BI and Analytics tools, such as Tableau
    • 1+ year experience with documenting, recording and administering standard operating procedures related to projects of up to 500+ employees
